Wong Kong-Yu

biography.

Wong Kong-Yu was born in Canton and he then later became a "HongKonger". He studied music at many different institutes throughout China and Hong Kong, and received a PhD from the University of York in England. His principal mentors of his include composers Gao Weijie and Nicola LeFanu. Wong’s recent works include a number of vocal compositions in varied forces and different languages. His piano music for young instrumentalists is lauded by pianists and audiences alike.
