biography.Born in Bergamo (Italy) in 1990, Davide Mutti is a composer, organist and choral conductor.
His studies have been with Gianluca Libertucci and Paolo Ugoletti at the Conservatories of Castelfranco Veneto, Venezia and Brescia, graduating with highest distinction. A busy church musician since 2005, he combines his performing and conducting duties with the musicological and organological activity. His large corpus of works includes all genres (for solo instrument, chamber, opera and symphonic music) and forms, though primarily sacred and liturgical music. Many of his compositions have been awarded in national and international competitions. His music is published in Italy (by Aldebaran Editions, Armelin, Feeria, Fondazione Coro SAT), Germany (by Edition Ferrimontana and Bardon Music), UK (by Chichester Music Press) and USA (by Paraclete Press, T.U.X. People’s Music and Shawnee Press-Hal Leonard). |
