Dr. Tyler Mazone is a Deaf and neurodivergent clarinetist and composer based in Michigan, where he graduated with his Doctor of Musical Arts from Michigan State University. Tyler advocates for accessibility by researching various pedagogy topics and composing works tailored for collaborators, from whom he receives valuable feedback. Especially prevalent is his work in advocating for Disabled musicians and breaking down barriers in music education and the community. Outside of music, Tyler can be found hiking outdoors, reading, and playing video games!​
