biography.

Joshua has been teaching music on Long Island, New York for 25 years. He teaches choir, but he enjoys composing music for the piano, orchestra, band, jazz band, and choir. He writes in many different genres, which can be found in Spotify, Soundcloud, Deezer, Apple music and Amazon. Josh has been performing for many years around New York. After studying Latin and World Music with Dr. Emilio Mendoza and composition with Elliot Del Borgo, at the Crane School of Music, he toured with a Latin band, throughout New York State. Mr. Bedell also attended the Aaron Copeland School of Music at CUNY Queens College, where he studied with Sir Roland Hanna. Mr. Bedell's music has been featured for radio and television. Mr. Bedell wrote a book entitled A Guide to Vocal Jazz Sight Reading. He continues to write, teach and play for various venues around New York.
