biography.Ivan Lyran blended musical creation with in-depth studies of music in his career, graduating with a Music Degree in 2013 from the Izabela Hendrix Methodist Institute.
While still in college, he studied with the award-winning composer and guitarist Ronaldo Cadeu de Oliveira, and later with master Sérgio de Vasconcellos-Corrêa, a former student of Camargo Guarnieri, and a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music. With a prolific production, his work covers almost all the instruments of the orchestra. Since 2013, his songs have been performed inside and outside Brazil. Argentina, Austria, Cyprus, Spain, the United States, France, Mexico, Peru, and Russia are some of the countries that have heard his beautiful musical creations. In his production of more than 90 works, the following stand out: “Lament For Theodore Antoniou” – opus 66 –, recorded in Poland by the award-winning flutist Iwona Glinka; and the “Three Brazilian Pieces” – for guitar duo, opus 22 –, recorded in Spain on the first CD by Duo Arcadia, called “Paisajes Sonoros”. |
